FAQ

Bartending Questions, Answered

Everything you need to know before booking mobile bartending in San Diego & North County.

What’s included in your bar service packages?
We provide professional bartenders, 1 hour pre-setup, bar tools/equipment, cups, water/sparkling water/sodas, and standard mixers + garnishes. Alcohol is provided by the client unless otherwise arranged.
How many bartenders do I need?
Our rule of thumb is 1 bartender per 50 guests (plus 1 hour pre-setup). For faster lines or multiple drink stations, we’ll recommend additional staff.
How long is service and does setup count?
Packages are based on 6 hours of bar service. Setup is an additional hour prior to service time so your bar is fully ready when guests arrive.
Do you provide alcohol?
Typically, alcohol is provided by the client. If you’d like help building a shopping list or selecting quantities, we can guide you based on guest count and drink preferences.
What mixers and garnishes do you provide?
Standard mixers include popular sodas and essentials (ex: cola, lemon-lime, tonic/soda water) plus common cocktail mixers. Garnishes typically include citrus (lemons/limes), mint, and cherries. Upgrades are available for specialty garnishes and custom cocktail menus.
Can I add a Margarita Machine, custom drink menu, or signage?
Yes — select add-ons above and we’ll bundle pricing. Popular upgrades include a margarita machine, custom drink menu, bar signage, extra ice, and extra coolers.
Do you need a sink or power at the venue?
Not always. For most standard bar setups, we can operate without a sink. Certain add-ons (like some margarita machines) may require power. We’ll confirm venue details during your quote.
Do you handle tip jars or gratuity?
Gratuity is not included. Most clients choose to add 15–20% gratuity or allow a tip jar—either is fine. We’ll follow your preference and venue rules.
How far do you travel?
We serve San Diego County with a focus on North County (San Marcos, Encinitas, Carlsbad, Vista, Oceanside, Escondido, and nearby). Travel fees may apply outside our standard service area.
How do I book and what’s required to reserve a date?
Choose a package and submit the form below. We’ll confirm availability, finalize staffing, and send a simple agreement. A deposit is typically required to reserve your date.
